JOCELYN'S BIO

Born in Hunan, China, Jocelyn moved to Summerland with her adoptive parents and has lived there all her life. Originally planning to become a nurse, the universe steered her in a different direction - the beauty industry! Jocelyn graduated from MC College in 2024 and brings with her natural talent, Bellami extension certification and eagerness to learn and grow.

Jocelyn is a chill, fun and friendly person with a competitive streak - she was a competitive figure skater for many years! A big fan of music, Jocelyn listens to a wide variety of tunes - her favourite music was made pre-2000s. Family is #1 for her, and she enjoys spending time with them more than anything in the whole world. (Rumor has it she's got an especially big soft-spot for her little niece!) Jocelyn enjoys watching BCHL hockey... especially when her little cousin is playing!
Like many of us at Ascend, Jocelyn loves our wonderful lakes, and enjoys swimming whenever the water is warm enough.

Jocelyn comes to us with a well-rounded skillset, and she's looking forward to expanding it as she works closely with our team of seasoned stylists. While Jocelyn is always excited to tackle any hair request, she especially enjoys foiling, colouring, updos and perms.
