Born in Pincher Creek, Alberta, Ylana brings 20 years of experience in the industry to the team.
After graduating from hair school in 2005, Ylana spent a bit of time doing hair in town before moving to the coast and expanding her skillset - she has since invested in a great deal of continuing education through Redken, Goldwell, Kevin Murphy and La Biosthetique... just to name a few.
Ylana is all about good vibes. She is a fun, genuine, huge-hearted person who enjoys everything about the outdoors, gardening, listening to music; she especially cherishes quality time with friends and family. A true people-person, she loves to make connections, loves to chat and is all in all just the friendliest person you'll ever meet. Ylana has a real knack for making everyone feel welcome and at-ease… no wonder everyone falls in love with her the second they meet her - we know you will, too.
Ylana has a wonderfully well-rounded skillset, so no matter what you’re needing, she’s got you covered. She is experienced in cutting and colouring all types of hair including ultra-fine and curly hair. She also specializes in highlighting, lowlighting, creating beautiful undertones, colour maintenance, styling and keratin smoothing.
