OUR LEVEL SYSTEM
You may have noticed that each service provider at Ascend has a different price - this is because they're all at different levels!
All new stylists & colourists at Ascend begin at a Level 1, and grow from there.
What do these levels mean, anyway?
The higher the level, the higher the price point... and the busier, more experienced and more in-demand the service provider is.
☝ It's important to know that Level 1 doesn't mean that the service provider is new to doing hair. We believe in full transparency, so we'll always clearly communicate if your service provider is NEW-new so that you can make an informed choice.
Once Level 1 service providers reach their level-up goals, they're promoted to a Level 2... and so on.
The higher the level, the harder your service provider has worked;
They've invested more in themselves and their education, they've grown their clientele and built themselves to a place where they're busier and more in-demand, and they've consistently met their salon goals.
This is why we make such a big deal when someone level-jumps; it really means something!
How many levels are there?
There are currently 9 levels at Ascend, but this could change as we grow! We're an ever-evolving, ever-innovating salon. We like to keep expanding what's possible for our staff... and our guests!
Why is the level system important to Ascend?
We believe that the level system is our greatest tool. Part of the idea behind levels is to provide a variety of pricing options to better serve the needs of our community.
Our level system also exists to reward our team for their hard work; It helps define a clear career path of growth & achievement, and it makes sure our team is being acknowledged for the level of demand they've built for themselves.
In short, the level system keeps all of us focused and motivated; it gives us guidance for our goals; and it helps us plan for the future by showing us the bigger picture.
We want our salon fam-jam to know success, to smash their goals, to continue to strive to grow and to arrive every day feeling happy, confident and empowered, knowing they have a winning plan to help them take their career wherever they want it to go!
