Evo is a family owned and operated Australian company that was created in 2005 by the Gauvin family. Their mission was (and still is) to challenge the status quo, inspire a movement of free thinkers, and to create change for the better with honest beauty products that respect people, AND the planet.
Evo's mission statement is “saving ordinary humans from themselves”. Here to make change, Evo's branding consists of providing everyone with products for "good hair… no miracle cures, gimmicks, hyped-up ingredients or answers to love, life and other woes. Just high quality, professional haircare that speaks the truth with personality.”
Evo is one of the most eco-conscious brands we have been able to find: they offset their operational greenhouse gas emissions by purchasing carbon credits to help fund revegetation projects; they utilize solar on an operational and manufacturing level to help reduce their carbon footprint; they incorporate green pre and post-consumer recycled plastic in their packaging; they use Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified hardwood for their brushes and FSC certified recyclable paper for their printed materials; they donate their obsolete stock to homeless shelters and they partner with organizations like Green Circle Salons to help create a more sustainable professional haircare industry.

Surface was established in 2008, inspired by salon owner and international hair stylist, Wayne Grund. Headquartered in Saskatchewan, Canada, Surface was founded on the principle of respecting personal health and the earth... and offers a culture of education, guest service and technical expertise.
Our favourite thing about this amazing brand is that they are partnered with World Vision- 10% of ALL Surface sales go directly to support World Vision.
Surface is also committed to giving back to the environment, providing natural, organic ingredients for their products and packaging. The Surface culture is committed to growth while encouraging personal health, respecting the earth and helping others.
The name Surface came from a passion to develop superior, all-natural products that respect the surface of our earth and to create a strong surface of success from which salons and their guests could grow. The Surface Tree represents a strong foundation of life from which there will be never-ending growth.

Olaplex is an American hair additive that is touted as "the holy grail of hair".
Dr. Craig Hawker- director of the California Nanosystems Institute and co-director of the Materials Research Lab at the University of California Santa Barbara, staff scientist Eric Pressley and Olaplex owner Dean Cristol are behind the creation of the active ingredient that makes Olaplex the miracle we know today.
Hair is made up of thousands of disulfide bonds that give the hair both structure and strength. When hair is lightened, these bonds are broken and approximately 50% will repair when the lightener is rinsed out. Over time, hair is weakened, dried out and breakage occurs over time.
Olaplex comes in 5 forms, and is composed of hydrogen, carbon, nitrogen and oxygen chains which together link the broken disulfide bonds in the hair- restoring strength and overall hair health.
We use Olaplex in our backbar and offer Olaplex No.3 treatment, No.4 shampoo and No.5 conditioner in our retail section.
