SOWINS (or South Okanagan Women In Need Society) provided programs, services, safety, shelter and support to those impacted by abuse in the South Okanagan.

The YES project is a community development project with 3 main goals;
1- To publicly advocate for the needs of Penticton youth
2- To create and facilitate more free and accessible youth activities and resources
3- To build a youth resource center to provide health and wellness services (including primary care, mental health, social services, substance use and peer support) to youth aged 12-24 years.
